MFF#15: Short Songs This mix was mostly inspired by Into It. Over It. (that’s why there’s three of his songs on it) who I’ve been listening to pretty much non-stop lately. I was starting to notice how a lot of my favourite of his songs are under two minutes long and that, actually, there’s loads of great songs that don’t reach the two minute mark, and that squeezing a load of different songs in to a really short space of time can be really satisfying. So I’ve made a mix of 24 tracks by 19 bands that clocks in at 37 minutes. It’s mostly acoustic folk and indie rock stuff, generally pretty mellow - despite what you might expect from a short songs mix, there’s no hardcore or pop punk on here as that’s a totally different mix for a different day. I’d hope that these short little blasts might act as little teasers and encourage you to check out some of the bands on here. As ever, click the cover up the top there to download.
